Yes, it was one of their Pike Factory cars (the S-Cargo being the most familiar) along with the Be-1 (a bee wordplay) and a Rasheen (a sort of Wartburg parody).

Amazingly bonkers.

So will it really be an 89/90 car? Amazing condition if it is. He'd removed one of the reversing lights to fit a fog light and it had been MOT'd.

It's a Nissan Pao (pronounced Pay_oh) brought back from Japan by the owner, who is a Scot who works in Japan (as a film director apparently) and who brings cars back with him when he can. If that G plate corresponds to the age of the car, then it's in remarkable nick with not an ounce of visible rust anywhere.

I quite like the function over form interior ...
I do hope Mrs K doesn't see that!

Admission prices are a little steep Chris but there's a nice range of stuff. If you like bikes, specifically old ones, there's the ARE museum at the end of KirkMichael highstreet if it's open.

Also worth a visit is http://jurbyjunk.co.uk/

If you get a chance, take a drive from Port Erin over the mountain to Foxdale - no upper speed limit ... and the scenery is fantastic!!

I've always liked those - it's very Fiat. Given the appeal of retro styling, perhaps Nissan ought to re-issue an updated version.

I wonder what label one would apply to retro-retro styling...

Whilst based upon the (very) humble Toyota Paseo, the Sera was quite cool...

She was more likely knocked off her feet by a passing Tokyo business man, who stole her knickers to sniff on the train home.
