EK9 the way to go the depreciation on that thing is next to none

I used to own one it will be very rare brilliant drive very raw

I know a specialist if you are interested he only gets minters in

As a result of which, I now struggle to drive the EK4 at less than 11/10.

Trouble is, everything afterwards feels as middle-aged & boring as a Volvo.

That period truly was a zenith for Honda; no wonder they struggle to match those cars now as we enter their hybrid nadir.

Hybrid Nadir? Doesn't he organise Ba'ath parties?

I agree with the DC2 Teg idea.

Pay £4-6k on a mint one and look after it and you'll lose nothing. It's got the best FWD steering in the business, unlike the CTR which has some of the worst hot hatch steering I've ever used.

And you can look down your nose at lesser Type R drivers who don't have a diff in the front. In fact CTR drivers never acknowledge the ITR or ATR whenever I drive past them (which is very often!)

Yours has had quite a few problems though hasn't it (leaks etc)

A CTR is unlikely to suffer such problems, even though the steering is woeful, never mind the turning circle...

Swings and roundabouts (faster in the ITR of course).

Bassoctopus may have had minor problems with his.

I've had 2 DC2 type-Rs and never had an issue with either of them in over 100K miles between them...

Edit to add...

White is the best colour for these, followed by black...

Be patient there are still some gems around that haven't been chavved up...

Check the link I posted on page 1. It is to a newer car, a Premiere edition for the same money as the one you are looking at on auto trader. Nice to have options
