As much as I hate the idea of driving an electric car, I do think it's about time to moved away from petrol and the internal combustion engine for the every days cars. Sports car should remain petrol powered for the time being imo.
I think more effort should be put into setting up a hydrogen fuelling network, and finding ways of getting more power from a hydrogen power cell and less time wasted on electric charging points. Hydrogen, for me, seems to be the way forward for the long term, and most other things appear to be just a stop gap.
