New Car ideas - yet another one I know!
#61
Let me guess; the 'weighty' road car was running too much castor, probably had cross-camber and too much toe-in both ends!
I should expect the optimal static settings are somewhere between NSX and S2000 fast-road!

THe dealer took at deposit on the S 240 earlier today so it might not be a tangerine one after all!

6 or 7 degrees of castor?
That tiny bit or front toe-out will make the steering darty and eager to turn into a bend. So of course will less castor, but mid-engines often run quite a bit to stop them 'flapping' about; the NSX is over 7 IIRC.

That's from memory though, the sheet's with the manual in the boot of the car and it's raining
