Equal drivers I don't think there would be much contest, no disrespect to the S.

I'd have thought that through the corners, but the S2000S would be allowed to cheat by having 450+BHP with a stage two/three conversion!

Put the same tires on the S2000 as you get on the Exige S and pick a high speed track and the S2000 would do well, that would be an interesting race, stock for stock exige S all the way.

I just noticed the S on the end our your S2000 Nick That would be close.

I'd still take the one which was meant for the task. I'm not sure a turbo or s/c S would solve Rich's dilemma though.

I decided to borrow Lotus' inconography there!

Honestly, if Rich misses the TVR grunt (who wouldn't?) but wants a reliable, yerp-cruiser that will be fun on the track for less than 30K, those are the only two options. Even then, both are a bit marginal as yerp cruisers.

But yes; point taken. I know: Exige for tracks, Evora for yerp. The bank manager can lay down and weep, the silly c unt.

I find most tracks have a limit of about 120 ish, which is well into Exige S territory. It does run out of puff around 130 though, but so does the S2000.

Rog - that's a lot of car for 8k, I remember tailing you about five years ago somewhere near fleet after a pub meet
yep - fleet is the right word for it
although that was probably Maca, who built it.

The beast is good past 150, as the odd TVR has found out

Not that I have any other than a purely theoretical basis for saying so ...
