NCB and Named Drivers?
Hi,
I had a few years NCD before switching the cars over to the wife and taking a company car two years ago.
I had a fault claim on her insurance as a named driver about 3yr ago, her NCB was and is protected.
I still have proof of original NCB from the Scooby days, and I presume I could prove the last two on a company car.
So assuming these above two facts, where do I stand with declaring my fault claim as a named driver?
As it was not my policy, is it likely to count against, or reset my potential NCB?
Either way I would have to declare it but just wondering if its easier just to let things run on the wifes policy?
Anyone have experience with accumulating NCB on a company car then applying to private insurance?
Cheers,
Steve.
