Jeaysus when i got a hire car the choice was a Smart or a 106! Opted for the smart to see what they are like in london - was a hoot until i got to the motorway and second it was gay car icon of the year.....

No wonder CLK & SLK drivers let my pull out in front all the time when i drove it!!!

I must have been lucky - managed to get another S when my car was in last week for repair - an MY06. I like the new steering wheel and the seats don't squeak when fully back, other than that I was glad to have mine back though.

If I couldnt get a S, they offered me an Elise or Z4.

Luck of the draw depending on the insurance co I guess.

Have you died your roots black and bought yer designer handbag & shous to go with that?

The ultimate in Moregeousie chavdom, round these parts.

There's one around in baby blue with a baby blue interior. Talk about more credit than taste.

The C-class works perfectly well in Bremen, where they are just a d-segment motorway car, really. But over here...

Well i'm not due to get the S back untill next weekend but i've told the hire company to pick the CLK up on monday.I'm delighted that i still feel FAR too young to be comfortable in a boat like this. And i've come to the conclusion that people with automatics must hate driving!

I dunno; I hate the Jazz without the CVT, for example.

It's appropriate to herion-cars. And Barbie Borgwards too, apparently.

The S requires a good manual. Which it has, fortunately.

My motorway car is an Auto (DSG) and it's fantastic for the miles, not too bad on the smaller roads as well but has nothing on the S. Having an auto is great when you're sitting in traffic.
