Also, we can revert to the un-PC 'Clubfoot' moniker!

Mini Traveller would sound like a dwarf did, which is doubly un-PC!

Is it just me, or does that steering wheel look like a PlayStation accessory?

Nice motor BTW!

That speedo's larger than the scales they used to have on every railway station platform. Where d'you insert the 2d coin?

Jeez - just how old are you? My grandfather used to talk about those red painted scales.

[QUOTE=markwneale,Dec 14 2007, 03:06 AM] Jim

A few points:
- The Clubman is a four seater proper - granted not limousine-like - but it seats four or I wouldn't have use for one
- BMW don't have the rights to the Traveller name - that's why it's called a Clubman
- Sorry to rain on your parade but just about every car other than a basic Fiat Panda is a marketing exercise based upon brand values, self-image, aspiration and other contemporary lifestyle BS - the Honda S2000 included if we're all honest
- The Clubman is a cost-effective tool for my business. Residuals are high and that keeps costs down
- CO2 emissions are low so my BIK tax is low
- Maintenance cost for my Mini over 80K miles is just over
