Its going to be road legal this year, the regs for things on the series we are entering is quyite tight. Next year if we continue, then we will look to get a trailer and evolve the car again.

So what else is there left to do?
Is there any practice events a la F1 style or is literally turn up to the first race event and see how it handles then?

We have a test day at brands next week. The car needs the cage, seats, harnesses and all safety stuff fitted to be race ready. It will get other periodic updates/upgrades through the year. Booked in to do some s2ki trackdays in it aswell.

This has been recommended by Dixcel/DC2 owners. The car had the usual Dixcel judder that is really not good on a race car.
They were the less aggressive way round before, we were advised to swap them and see if it improves matters. We shall see (once the loom is back in and it is drivable!)

Good luck with the build!

I take mine to my special bedding in area here http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&source=s...14&ie=UTF8&z=15
and drive up and down a few times with some vigorous braking until there is a nice smell of brakes. This ensures you won't get judder.

Then check the thickness around the disc with a mic.
You may find they are already toast if they were badly fitted.
