Slight update.
New rad in, just need to get coolant in and bled now. Job for tomorrow.
It's a long job to swap a rad in an exige. About 16 hours for me atm but a bit of a novice. I expect 23 hours when complete. I think lotus do it in 10.

All will be well as long as repairs don't become a regular occurrence. Having a car off the road for repairs as often as it's on will wear anyone down and fear of breakdowns is soul destroying. My slight worry would be that this is just one of many cheapo components waiting to fail but I guess the forums should have highlighted those by now. The 'lack of use' thing is a bit more of a lottery.

Yes I use that quite a lot. This is a job I would hate a firm to do for me. It's so involved and a typical worker doing it was not give the sort of shit I did when disassembling and reassembling. I've took loads of care and know it's been done correctly. No spares anywhere
