But... Appr, the ac condenser can implode when the rad comes off, so it might not be fixed this weekend.

If the condenser breaks when the main road comes off then I'll have to order a new condenser and that'll be a week delay

Oh well, things are moving in the right direction

Stay safe out there Colin!

Odds on intact condenser and City to win the league anyone?

I'll update you tomorrow morning.

If the condenser is fine then I'm not touching it. If it breaks in the future then obviously deal with it then but I'm all for if it ain't broke...

However that rule doesn't apply to the main rad and I knew that needed swapping but didn't expect it so soon. If the ac condenser stops on a 100 mile journey I can open a window. If the rad does, I'm fecked as demonstrated last weekend. At least this alloy one is a bit of quality engineering

Yes I thought so too. Radical and most certainly

I envy you having a great car you can work on and fix yourself, unlike mine. Different strokes ...
Being honest tho I couldn't even get in and out of such a beast even without the cast on me left leg

Arsie, I agree with what you say but there is one slight issue with your comment. All is good upto the 'fix' bit. That part is as yet undecided.
