Yes I'm told that the pp can be 260d with relative ease. I think 240 might be enough

I have a 135R Sport S2 in mirca silver. I think your budget will get you a nice example in the 2004-2006 range which are all Toyota engine versions. The lower end of your budget would get you 2001-2003 Elise S or 111s. I would most definatly go with an S2. This is not my daily driver and nor should yours be its very impracticle with regards to boot space, if you could call it a boot. They are also a pain in the ass to get in an out of with the roof on, but great for females haha . Service history is a must, as with most cars, even though the majority of elise's have low mileage. The noise is exceptional ! the ride is bone shaking, but most of all they are really great fun! and they stick like shit to a shovel.

Thanks Ian. I have nicknamed the car 'stabilo'. I am currently the subject of quite a few jokes from people I show.

Cheers Nick. I'm sure I am going to have some fun with it. As its such a rowdy colour, I hope I don't attract a lot of abuse

It might be spending all of its days hid in the garage and comes out at night only

I think its a greate colour .......tell you what ill race you for pink slips on the bike you saw me on yesterday only joking,I agree you will get some ribbing and some dodgy sunglasses will be produced when you turn up at Rays in it but you'll live through it I'm sure.

Sorry I didn't make a fuss of your gorgeous dog yesterday but I was eating and didnt know if you allowed him/her to eat McD,and after I'd seen Ron kissing it,it kind of put me off
