Hi mate...
Same here to be honest. Orange was a first choice. I've been looking for about 3 months pre elise sale so 6 months in total and came to realise when a nice one appears, buy it. I missed a white one 5 months ago through dithering about and that still bugs the shit off me.
This is isotope green and a crazy as fook colour in the flesh. The pics don't seem to carry it off very well. If I'd have seen this colour pre elise ownership I'd have thought 'that knob is off his rocker' but about 2 months after picking up the old one, I realised the same rules do not apply to these cars. The market is like a niche within a niche. I came to the conclusion that these cars pick you as much as the other way.
First nutcase colour I have owned in my life. Looking forward to it.
Well spotted the the intercooler. I am getting the stock one with it but it seems pointless to take this alloy one off.
The story of the car is quite a sad one in terms of the old owner. He died 18 months ago due to cancer and the car has been sat there with the widowed wife. She has taken it out every couple of weeks to keep the oil flowing but couldn't bear to sell it. Now got the strength to do so. He bought it when becoming Ill and then just deteriorated over 2 years
I hope I can do his spirit justice.

But yes, no way of avoiding the fact it's pretty nuts a colour. My new job is 'paying' for it so I'm living the mid life crisis dream (again). By paying for it I mean moving back into technology has opened up the cash gates from my previous venture. Just can't feckin sleep through excitement hence posting all this crap at 4am

Never tracked a car I have owned in my life! I'm sure that has to change now. I have never properly driven a 240 so I've no idea if I'll notice a diff from my old k series. Only done a few tests in a 220 but never clouted it.

You will find it to be 'f@#king quick!'
Its just a weapon, and very much grin enducing. Mine was going to cost me my license if I hung onto it roundabout exits were my favourite.
And it's pretty much a law that you have to try it on track. You just can't push it close to limits on a road.

Deffo not, becuase 220 soon becomes mundane I think I had 250 and never wanted more but 220 felt a little flat.
The standard cars have a limit on the DBW throttle opening. The PP car allows 100% and has the bigger Lotus Motorsport injectors.
