Very comfy IMO, but very noisy at motorway speeds. I used earplugs for Spa trips.
TBH the Elise SC offers a lot more than the Exige, and you would probably be more suited to that, but the downside is much harder to tune it.
Wouldn't advise changing the roof either, it feeds the inter cooler.

Good point on the IC intake wouldn't want the LSB's hair getting sucked in!

Well the Elise SC allows roof off (doesn't use the same Exige intercooler) and you can see out the back window. It's a bit more refined too IIRC.
The later Elise S is also Supercharged, but has a lower rev limit and not as much fun imo, but bags more torque which makes it a lot more drivable.

That's an S2 SC, so the higher revving one. Post 2010 the SC elise was just called S (but still supercharged) but uses a different charger.
The S3 is the monster V6.

I got close to a low mileage starlight black at JCT600 last year
In the end i decided to stick with the M while commuting, its the ultimate all rounder i think, certainly castration safe in shit conditions. Saw a tvr in the wall on widows corner last night
