Sorry Ade, should've realised you wanted actual dimensions. The garage door is 3m, the garage itself is 4m.

The RS4 was good as long as it was sweeping bends, for anything tight or with sudden changes it was a bit of a 'mare, I did still like mine though. I remember coming to a T junction in the snow in it once, applied the brakes gently but it just kept going, and going, and going. A real pant shredder that one was, I wasn't so convinced of Audi's reputation in bad weather at that point.

No, no - along with a Lotus, you need a boring barge that handles, er like a Lotus:

I was right. I had to get the jump leads out. I have found another benefit though. As the engine is in the rear, you can drive a car up to in in the garage and the leads reach

Found another unexpected benefit to Evora ownership last night on a long drive - turtle shape means the howling gales just blow over and around it - never noticed the wind until I got out of the car.

Still need to encounter some proper lying snow to test the winter tyres on.

Just had another tank slapper. Thought I'd see how fast I could go around a greasy roundabout, assuming that if it gets messy, it'll just slide sideways. Errrrrr, it seemed obsessed in pirouetting, but not quite sliding, then shitting me up.

I had picked a hazard free roundabout

Engine position. When they go, they're usually gone for good in the hands of most drivers.

Yup - tail slide in a ME is usually quite a loooooonnnng way. Even in an X-1/9 on 165/70-13s.

The Elise's wheelbase/track width ratio means it will want to pirouette like a Kart. You need to practice on one of those first.

Lets put it this way, as much as I got away with this, it could have turned into a fibreglass mess. Another lesson learned.

I took my S1 on a drift day at Oulton and had a right old game spinning everywhere. The instructor asked me if I wanted some help while chuckling at me.

I jumped in the passenger seat and we did 3 laps and he spun it on nearly ever corner.

"Fookin hell, this is hard" being his only words to me.
