To no avail.

Try playing it spoken word tapes through a dictaphone and see what it responds to?

Or something like that.

Voice activated / gesture control is what is needed and something that can be fully customised - touch screen phones are hard enough to use even on a well mounted cradle.

Appradio is getting there and some of the DashCommand type apps are pretty good, I'm not sure i'd want that AUDI display right in my line of sight though.

My current voice activation system: typical scenario, me on phone : 'Ok Google - navigate to Blakemere, Ellesmere' 'NAVIGATING TO BLACK LOCK, WEST VIRGINIA'

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Hahaha, try navigating to 'Alsager'. That used to send me to the middle east...

Touch screens don't work when you are wearing gloves....

I'll avoid the Dictaphone gag...

It's easier just to pick up the phone & poke the screen - or press some buttons on the buttony thing in the middle of the car.

It's natural, open pore eucalyptus in actual fact; part of the 'Lodge' interior option, with activated, wool blend and leather upholstery. £1,500 option.

Not quite as convincing as this though...

I was hoping you'd stoop for that - ahh well MIght cause offence in traffic jams, especially in a rag top.

However I agree - i also HATE the AC / heater controls in the Jazz - they're just not intuitive. I like the S2000 ones - you just don't need anything other than dials and buttons.

'Ahh but computer controlled is better' yes but I work in IT and computers go wrong.
