The engines aren't but the high pressure injection stuff is fragile.

They're putting the Tribeca 3.6 H6 into the outback now so it might make it into the Legacy at some point.

It would make the Legacy a more attractive prospect but it's just too damn ugly!

Wonder if the 3.6 would fit into mine

You're talking an extra 100cc per pot, so I'd be surprised if the crankcases need to be any bigger. So I'd expect so.

Just turbocharge it (using Impreza bits!)

Right, I've made a decision.

I'm not going to buy any of the above, I just can't do it.

When the best choice is looking like a diesel you know something is wrong.

I'm going to buy a van for racing and an E46 M3 for daily duties and I'm excited about it

I'll start another M3 thread later, because we haven't had quite enough of those yet.

I haven't bought one yet but I'm looking at a van next week so will hopefully be on to the M3s very soon after
