As much as I detest Porsche with every fibre of my being, I do support them on this one Red Ken has gone too far and it's nice to see a car manufacturer standing up for us (seeing as we aren't capable of doing it ourselves ).

With regard to your comment, I think that people who detest Porsche really - as has been said further on down this thread - don't get it at all. Personally I found it my Porsche experience to be much akin to my S2000 experience thus far. By and large nice people with an interest in talking to others who share their love of the marque. The trouble is that all people can generally see when they think Porsche is posh cars being driven by ponces.
I admire Porsche. It's only the fact that they make such vast numbers of them now and they were becoming 2 a penny that I looked around for something different. The 911 is an icon, the boxster is still regarded as one of the most balanced roadsters out there today. Even our Club Sport gets admiring glances whenever we go out in it. The old cars are absolutely bulletproof. I would gladly buy another boxster one day.
We had an old 944 which cost us just over

I just struggle with the lazy styling, lack of imagination when it comes to naming their cars, and the fact they appear to be slowly taking over the World
I think it's a case of I just don't "get" the 911.
