Jenson - F1 Champion 2009
Well done Jenson he is a top bloke who must have started to doubt himself over the last 4-5 races and then qualifying in 14th must have nearly killed him!!
However he grew a huge pair of balls in order to drive the race of his life. A worthy champion and I am glad he crowned his successful year in style.
Nice words from Ross Brawn, gutted for Rubens but you have to hand it to the Brit - well done Jenson!!
However I am very disappointed in Webber cos he didn't acknowledge JB and considering he is the spokesman for the driver's union or what ever it is then he has to eat some humble pie and congratulate his fellow competitor - yeah he is a Pom but be a sportsman and admit defeat when it happens
What a story and BBC must be loving the circus that has surrounded F1 over the last 10 months
Can't wait for the final race and I really hope JB puts on a great show - all out attack and finishes the season they way he started!!
Over and out

Here's a coincidence as noted by Norbert Haug
"For the second year in a row, car number 22, driven by an Englishman and powered by a Mercedes-Benz engine has finished fifth in Brazil to win the world championship"

What did Hamilton say? He looked like a spoiled child, but I didn't hear what he had to say.
Really really chuffed for Jenson.
I wonder just how battered he is right now?

I thought they were all fine other than Vettel. But I don't know why Vettel was so upset. He still drove a pretty good race considering he started so far back.
In fact Button, Vettel, Kubica and Hamilton all did great drives.
But that was a proper champion drive from Button. Those first 10 laps or so were some of the most exciting laps I've seen in ages. And that brilliant pass on Buemi from nowhere. Hats of to Buemi for not taking Button out.
All the commentators have said it, but consistency was the key. In fact I can't remember a bad drive during a race from Jenson. I'm sure someone will remind me though
Quali wasn't always up to scratch, but to anyone saying he's not a deserving champion, I refer you to Lauda's comments after the race. And if you went on wins, Button won it ages ago. And this is the first season in a couple of years not to go down to the final race I think.
I felt awful for Barichello though, when he was told he had a puncture. I suspect that means Rubinho won't get a championship now.
2010 is shaping up to being an interesting one though.
