But the Noble's not a kit car, in essence or any other sense. No more than say a Lotus is (both glassfibre over a tub and spaceframe arrangement).

If I had to choose from the list the TVR would just about win over the Noble, the Exige is *way* too tame for a second car
If I could choose anything it'd be a tow car and a Caterham or Westfield or Fury etc. track car.

What I was trying to convey - badly, perhaps - is that the M12 has that low-volume-built-by-hand-and-so-not-finished-all-that-well thing about it, which tends to be common to kit cars.

I would have the Noble without a second thought IF i had a beater and could bear to drive the beater daily. I seriously considered a noble when i was looking to upgrade last time, but as i use my car daily and it has to have some semblance of practicality, i bought another S. If i could have a 30k car as well as the S, i'd have one like a shot.

"Ive driven a noble m12 gto (3L ford V6 twin turbo)
I have to say it was quick upto 130mph but then gutless also it was very difficult to drive the car...im sure this was deliberate as it did give it a racing car feel.
As for build quality i rebuilt the engine at 15K and it was the worst engineered/built put together car i have worked on in my life and ive worked on 80% of vehicle manufactures...it was such aboge job its amazing a kid in a shed could of built 1 of those better....not sure what the newer ones are like but doubt a leppard changes his spots !
Just my 2 pence worth"
