great point Mark
i play forza (a racing game) online on my xbox sometimes
play against yanks and it's a constand barrage of 13year old movie swearing, threats, death threats and general " have a small pen1s and i'm afraid to use it mentality"
play against european kids and they'll speak your language and rarely swear.
currently uk kids aren't too bad. but i know which way we're going

I love the food, the people and the values they have about life.
Family is a high priority and this is where we fail in this country.
We don't look after the kids and the old. We are selfish, materialist and intolerant.
Rant over

I lived in Italy for a year when I was 23 and I had a cracking time!
I now go back as often as I can because of the very reasons you all have mentioned!
It boils down to good family stability and respect.
Unfortunately respect is a diminishing characteristic in this country. People don't have respect for themselves so let alone for their family, country or anything.
Italy has it all - cars, women, food, culture, wines, icecream, clothes, climate etc.
However there is a down side because the economy is knackered, there is plenty of violence (organised) and the M word is still rife especially in the North and Southern parts.
Love Italy and I'll move back there one day - but definately not to work!
