I have it on my iPhone and have used it.

For the Golf, now swapped for something else, it seemed pretty good... estimating peak horsepower of 229 and 15.03 for the quarter at 97.6mph (for an Edition 30, I would have thought reasonably accurate). For the BMW 123d I now have it is estimating 197hp (reasonably accurate I'd guess) and a standing quarter of 15.23@96.5 (on my local private airfield) again about what you expect.

You need to make sure that the device is kept still and either flat or vertical - otherwise it will detect a "bad run". You need to perform a calibration to set it up. My first run in the Golf estimated power at 1112bhp and a standing quarter in less than 8 seconds... but the iphone fell out of the holder...

So all in all for £5 or £10 or whatever its not a bad app...

I've had it for about a year.

Fun for a few weeks in a couple of cars and now never used...

Edit: And you shag clutch and tyres for a week trying to improve your 0-60.
