I haven't heard many good things about the show either. Charlie Shaw was there to put on a display on track in his mental 4wd focus and posted this on facebook on saturday night...

"Ingliston Revival you say,,,,,,,,,,, More like Super Car Ride experience promo day!!!!!!!
Apologies to anyone that came up to see me doing what i promised, as when we got there the WANKER organising the pit lane decided there should be a pace car out in from of me….
They also put a Porsche 918 which is a electric hybrid 900hp super car. Was very quick,
So out we go…. 918 leading and being held up greatly by pace car, Me and him had a good bit of banter back and forth speeding up and slowing down, then a wee straight-line race which was very even steven. Then next time round 918 let me past to let me lead a fews laps then we gets pulled in…
Apparently i broke the no over taking rule (remember this is the charlie shaw display team)
BANNED for life form event. LOL LOL LOL
Best news ever heard as the event had nothing like promised when hyped up earlier on the website.. So we can head home.
There were no restaurants open for families to shelter from the wind, just burger vans..
One plus was the kids rides and bouncy castles were free…
I never slate events or places as i know how difficult they are to get up and running but this weekend was used only to get punters into the super car experience club…
My father attended as he was looking forward to seeing old racers from back in the day, there was nothing except people who owned old cars and brought them along.
Rant over LOL"

The first photo shows how much of the track was protected by these high hay bales which made getting a good vantage point difficult. I took this shot from a pedestrian bridge but promptly got moved on by a jobsworth steward. They would allow you to take one or two photos but you couldn't linger as it would encourage others to stop and the bridge wouldn't cope with the weight ...

There were some interesting cars lapping ...

And some right dross in the meadow area ... (just for Mikey and Soulcrew ... )

Even these two Stratoses (pl?) were apparently replicas ...

Can anyone identify this car without its front and rear ends? (Mr Graves should get this, I think)

Finally, here a video clip I took of some oldies. The bloke in the Stingray Corvette was constantly stirring for gears and was lucky he wasn't rear-ended by the Capri ...

Well seems I made the right move by staying at home in the dry, Seen Charlie Shaws awesome focus many times at Knockhill so missed nowt there then, I did go looking for old photos from the circuit taken oh so many years ago but far too many unmarked packets to rummage through.

Perhaps it was a dud weekend all round

Very few attended JAE and those that did don't have positive reports

And I found the Goodwood Revival strangely uninvolving as well - it all felt flat this year, not helped by a missing Vulcan and a poor air display
