not wishing to slate the exotic car club places that was brought up a month ago, but you just never know what people are going todo with your vehicle if they dont own them.

would such a car be rented to your eurohire or hertz rent-a-car place?

i doubt such a car be rented to your eurohire or hertz rent-a-car place, why i bring up the exotic car club rental thing

the side of the car looks like it's hit a knife; side of the car has been took off clean!

The scary thing is it was a private owner who had hired his car to the super car club who then cross hired it and that hirer then let some 25 year old drive it ending in a write off

i must of missed a post in the PH thread then mikey... didnt realise it was sub-hired! thats just poor.

Whats the significance of the driver being 25 years old though Mike?

It like reading about bike crashes : "Mr X lost control of his 210mph superbike when a car puled out on him..."

Not a dig, just an observation on perception.



PS - Nambiker used to be on here didnt he?
Wasnt he the gent in the fire service who got his car vandalised?

The driver was allegedly 24.
One of the conditions of hire is that the driver must be over 25, this was an assurance given to the owner by the hire company when he lent them his car.

The insurance company usually stipulate this, so it's a double whammy for the owner, as the driver is likely not to have been insured, so the insurance won't be paid.
