if you were to take a road trip in your S, how long will it take to drive from the northern tip to the southern tip?

John o' Groats in the North to Lands End in the South.

I would not like to try it 830 miles about 13.5 hrs of pure driving without a single stop or traffic - so would have to develop some kind of in flight re-fueling rig.

- in reality I would say a tough 2 days.

I guess it is the same speed driving up the map as down.

The fastest by a bicycle is about 45hrs.

I did London, England to Aberdeen, Scotland in about 10 hours or so, with a few pit stops. Of course, most of the time was spent in London on the M25.

The question was north of England to the south of England.
Scotland is not part of England
I would guess from the England / Scotland border to the tip of Cornwall (in the south) would take about 6 -7 hours. That would include pit stops and getting past Birmingham.

Being a totally non-aggressive driver - I have found you have to try quite hard to actually average more than 50mph in the daytime, door to door, over distance in England.
Traffic weight, god-awful lane discipline, amateur policemen, roadworks, etc., etc.

When you go back to put a smiley in - why don't they go where the cursor is?
