Has anyone done a K20 swap?
Hi as some of you know, i am looking to build a track car (FWD N/A) for 10K all in (base car included)
It seems the best suggestions were to Go for an EK9 or EG (the EK9 would be better as stiffer chassis and will be in better condition as newer) or the DC2 with the K20 swap.
Has anyone done a K20 swap before?
if so what are the costs / time / specific engine to go for / etc etc
Let me know, any feedback would be very much appreciated!!!
Cheers.

I have often thought about doing something similar to this next year, i love the S2000 but if i get it wrong during a trackday then its going to be a very very expensive mistake. Especially as the car is worth at least 9K.
My plan would be to get an EP3 Civic type r, Strip all the weight out of the back of the car, do some basic breathing mods and some track biased brakes. Fit a set of coilovers and get the car fully corner weighted and set up correctly. A set of R888 or AD08 tyres and then have some fun on the track. This could be done with a 6K budget if i done the labour myself, and if and when i get bored of the 200 odd horsepower i can stick a Jackson racing supercharger on it and a decent LSD and it would be a very quick track car.
Plus it would have the practicality of a medium sized van with the rear interior stripped out.... Thats how i try and justify it to the girlfriend!
I love my S2000 but i couldnt start ripping out interior and fitting a hardtop to make it quicker on track, it would be ruining a perfectly decent car.
