Here are my offerings from this years Goodwood Festival of Speed - there are not many of moving cars - I wanted to savour the time rather than faff with cameras - but believe me, the cars do move!! (200 different cars of all ages from all types of motorsport ran up the hill each day - F1 old and new, sports cars, supercars, NASCAR's, Indycar, dragsters....the list goes on and on. Alan McNish took the current F1 Toyota up the very narrow, very twisty 1.18 mile 'hill' in a record 41 sec's - spectacular.)
For those who dont know Goodwood, each year a manufacturer is 'featured' - this year it was Renault. The featured manufacturer gets the prime spot in front of Goodwood house to show off their sporting heritage and and install a little piece of artwork on Lord and Lady March's front lawn - this is what renault came up with (yes, those are real F1 cars up there - not models!):
Pagini Zonda moving down the hill (God I love this car):
Underneath the 'instalation' lived Jenson Button, Jarno Truli's spare car and the Renault F1 pit crew for the weekend!:
Here's Jens returning home after a blast up the hill:

The car was driven by his team mate Satoru Nakajima
Camaro dragster has a little problem putting the power down!!!
The ITALDESIGN Alfa Brera concept car - driven (yes it moves!!0 up the hill by the great Giugiaro himself (thats his helmet on the roof):
Pre war Auto Union GP car (Porsche in Gulf colours in the background)
Derek Bell and Sir Jack Brabham compare notes:
Murray does a 'piece to camera' on the relative merits of Senna and Schumacher:

Great pics Ian, I love the Zonda, Auto Union/Porsche and the Brabham / Bell pics, they really sum up Goodwood for me.
You even managed to get the Auto Union in front of the Audi banner
Makes me wish a) I'd taken my SLR and b) It had been sunnier on Friday.
