At that price

it would be worth stripping the bodykit , stock exhaust and clocks etc for sale ,then replacing with aftermarket track based kit to give one very cheap track bike

Can you fit a sat nav to a bike, such as a TomTom One? Clearly glancing down at the screen too much would be a no-no, but if you could wire the speaker to a headphone, that could be useful. I easily become lost on country lanes

Craig, there's a specific one - Tom Tom Rider. Not cheap though.

TT Rider doesn't seem to get great reviews on the VFR forum - IIRC the preferred choice may be Garmin or something. I would find one very distracting on a bike if I was just out for ride - justifiable for touring or A to B trips only I'd think.

Most of the guys I know who use one have gone the Garmin route.

I bought one early summer , but just couldnt even get on with the basics of planning the route so imediately sold it

This year , we just sat down every night over a few beers , wrote down some critical road numbers and towns , placed it in the top of my tank bag and hey Ho , 3200 miles without a problem , and that was all minor roads .

Yep, just seen that myself. Someone must have made him an offer which he decided to take. With hindsight, I should have asked what he was advertising it for locally.
