What's the group opnion on textile jackets v leather jackets? Have the latest textile jackets closed the accident strength gap? I'd prefer to have gear which doesn't prevent wearing usual attire underneath.

I mostly wear a textile jacket and leather jeans.

Any brand recommendations or does it ultimately come down to a question of fit for the individual?

I'm struggling to find decent group tests.

I wear leathers and/or textiles depending on the temperatures/weather generally.
My textiles are Rukka and cost @

I ride 2 piece leathers all year round and all conditions now, even summer gloves , i just alter the number of layers worn under my jacket.

even when it pi$$ed down for a whole day in Switzerland this year the waterproofs stayed in the tank bag

I cant get on with clothing moving around or flapping in the wind at high speed , especially for hours on end .
