I have one of them. I'll probably be selling it too. I don't ride enough to justify keeping it.
What's the spec pip? And how tall are you?

Use mine a few days a week for commuting when the forecast says it'll be dry.

I would say I rode it in extreme weather last Friday! Still dry though.

Would rather avoid the extra cleaning that will be involved after riding in the wet. And also the crap car drivers.

Have recently put Gilles rearsets on it too.

I have had these on my last 3 bikes.

Just a troll like question - do any of you people use your motorcycles

I'm 3 months into daily commuting on a 125 - and I quite like it really.
I use mine for rides down the borders etc at weekends, but also use it to head up north for the weekends. It's surpisingly comfortable. Just ordered a top box, which will mean I could go out to clients/go shopping etc. Starting to view it as second vehicle that is only marginally less practical than the S, but costs nowt to park, SFA to run, and goes faster/handles better.

I live too close to my work to make it worthwhile commuting, but would consider it if the journey was longer.

(So when are you getting sitting your big bike test Colin? ..... time we had a resident-jock bike meet)

Vale has been testng a DTM at hockenheim today

Not sure if that will benefit his preperation for the forthcoming NZ rally but certainly a fun lifestyle

I may go and have a look at this one on Sunday but:

(a) do you think the colour is rare since its unpopular and thus the bike would be difficult to sell (it looks good to me!)?

(b) what should I be checking on the bike beyond tyre wear, smooth steering and suspension movement, obvious wear & tear, clunky gears?

Does this clicky work?

You can't find the bike if you type in "CBR600", which I hope means less bidders
