I think if I fail, I'll go back to the chap I did my CBT with.....he was very relaxed and chilled out.
I remember him telling me about the types of instructors out there who try to put you down, etc. At the time, I thought he was just trying to persuade me to do the DAS with him.
I now understand what he means.

You will pass.
Do you want the guy who has been shouting at you to make you fail?
Or prove to him that despite all his critisms you can still do it?
Good luck, you'll be fine.
I went the wrong way on my test and still passed
Be relaxed (easier said than done sometimes), and remember safety first.
Lifesaver, livesaver, livesaver.
Don't forget to turn your indicators off

just remember that every bastard in a car is trying to kill you .
Definitely helps you be more defensive.
San,
Passing your bike test WILL also make you a better car driver, (better at driving, it won't get you a better car ).
Your observations / anticipations will improve

if you already drive half the battle is won as you have and idea of positioning etc etc ect
and the test is just like the car test - shit yourself before but as soon as you start you relax more and remember what you were taught.
its really not that bad - if you fail its more likely to be a single thing, like putting your foot down on the U turn rather than a series of minor mistakes.
think the pass rate for bikes is about 70% so be positive - also remember that as the the examiner can only write up the notes when he gets back he has a far greater scope for discretion than a car examiner.
so if you make one silly mistake but the rest of the test was very good and he thinks overall you are a safe rider he can overlook it.

On my test I missed a left turn as I was almost level with it and thought he meant the next one. In my ear i get the comment "Oh well ..seeing as you're ignoring my instructions, we may as well go back to the test centre!" ..... I still passed!

I was interested to see how fast we were going.
Just a quick glance
Just a quick glance
Either that or it's that closer to the ground making it feel faster than it is syndrome!
What gear were you doing that corner in Dan? I'd guess at 2nd, maybe 3rd.

It wasn't an overly sharp bend.
Certainly didn't need to be hanging off the bike that much there.
It was just a bit of fun seeing if the knee would touch down
