Depends on how well they take the weight - I have read about some of the cheaper ones (for my bike) just buckling. Hence why I went for the drill option on mine. Are you on an R6 forum that you can search for info?

That there's got a good ol' fashined Harley Davidson motor in it...cool if slightly weird bikes, was tempted by one but got a Ducati Monster instead as a bit easier to live with...

I quite often see one on my way home and to be fair to the guy he rides it wind and rain but he looks well wobbly on it and won't lean it over

I've heard Buell's are awesome handling bikes. I'd rather buy a KTM superduke though if you are going to buy a bike like that.

Yeah...most of them suggest the ones you have to drill with as the others seem to b on brackets that may break apparently.

I just hate the idea of drilling my new baby!

It's like giving a kid a vaccination, she might cry now but it's for the best in the long run

I'll do it for you

The R&G ones I linked to before are very highly rated.

The ones (IME) that come with brackets so you don't need to drill aren't any good - the brackets tend to be very flimsy.

So much so that when my ZX7R fell on its side the mushroom folded through the fairing - I reckon there would have been less damage without having them fitted!

Only managing once a week at the mo.

If it's nice tomorrow I may go to Poole on it.

Need to get those bungs. Whaddya reckon to ones you cane gte where you don't need to drill. Are they less good?
Once a week is more than I do

Avoid Dynomite in Poole - they stripped some of the threads on my old R1 when fitting the mushrooms for me.

Don't get the crappy flimsy ones.

They're not difficult to fit San - just time consuming if you have to remove the fairing (unless removing it on an R6 is tricky) - you'll need to do this when you fit your turbo next year anyway

I used R&G ones - mine had to go on a rod that went through the frame, so were more expensive than most others

I couldn't find a drill big enough for the bolts so had to enlarge the hole with a dremel - this was a bit tricky come to think of it ...........
