so long as you're moving
the cold doesnt really bother me as i dont do long distances. that is far from pleasant in the uk on a naked bike .. too much twaffic. I used to ride to Northants to work, 75 miles each way, on a cbr600rr and it was superb on a nice day. Never did it below 10C though as no heated grips. but you dont wanna get stuck in traffic on a bike like that.. breaks your arms

600 odd quid later ... 2 new discs, new pads, new front tyre and a nice ride to and from the workshop. Be back out on it as soon as the last of the winter grease has washed off the road.

Fancied one of these for quite a while but it wasn't till I started looking seriously that I found BMW produced a K1 without the garish graphics some of you may remember on the Red, Blue and Yellow bikes. This is in so called Classic Black. It's a 1992 bike with 47,000 km on the clock so just under 30,000 miles. 3 owners, and the seller has owned it for the last 20 years. I bought it in Germany via mobile.de. It's still there owing to travel restrictions but between myself and the seller we have worked out exactly what needs to be done to export it from Germany in a form that I can import it into Andorra. I suspect it'll be 3 or 4 weeks yet before I can fly/train it over to where he lives to collect it but I then have the prospect of a nice c.1.600 km ride home.

That's very smart and i should think fairly rare now, especially in that condition.

There seem to be enough about but as you would expect with a c.30 year old bike not many good ones.
