New chain and sprockets on the KTM 990 last weekend, +3 teeth on the rear and -1 on the front. Massive difference in power delivery and smoothness from the new parts.

Sorry guys, the picture above is a Triumph Street Triple with single headlight conversion!!
Excuse the misleading post.
Rode this Daytona around the other day with the aim of swapping from my supermoto. What an awful riding position! back to looking at MT07's & STR's.

Had the Gixxer a year now and clocked up 6000 miles and onto my third rear tyre. Finished off the last one:
Did some sprinting at Curborough:
Video too. The juddering you can hear is the suspension completely bottomed out and the tyre hopping on the verge of lockup. No ABS and I'd already dropped the bike at this point... I have sorted the suspension since then:

The problem with sprinting is you do it on cold tyres. I'd already lost the front earlier and in trying to pick up maximum drive from the tight left hander, I was in 1st gear, leaned all the way over, the rear span up and I lowsided:
New clutch lever, new rear set and scuffed fairings, mirror and stator cover.
Did a 6 hour round trip to Barmouth last week in pretty much every weather they had to offer. The bike performed brilliantly as to be expected.
I did discover a leaky fork seal. I thought it needed a new one but research lead me to dirt in the seal. I bought something called a seal mate for £5 and gave it a go. I removed all this:
And 100 miles later, no leaks on the fork at all
