I lol'd at the crumble's reviews on youtube (of the L which has bigger wheels - it wont go off road)

Haha. I will drop him off in the car, this is purely for the commute and his pre school and hopefully his school are <5mims from house (we find out next month)

My avg commute time is 41 mins, 9miles/13km your money

On the bicycle i am between 36-46 mins based on fitness, weather and wind.. I am hoping to shave off 10 mins and with the bike i can bypass the logjams meaning i am able to get home where in the car i just get stuck. Worst was 2hrs. I could run 13km in about 70mins ffs and i'm not quick

Oh i know. I only drive a car if need be these days especially when i'm in Bruges.
We have several bikes here. The nc750 is my runabout. For France i prefer the VFR 1200X

This is a tiny little single, though i'm sure people use them for ripping around this will be a bloke's scooter. I cannot wear armour and sidi boots on a vespa

I like the NC.. used to have a CBR600RR years ago and i love Honda bikes (they seem to have remained on track unlike the cars).

loved the RR but way too fast and manic for me as a dad, it just wanted to rev and i just wanted to rev it. They are also terrible to ride in traffic, they get hot, your wrists ache, the clutch gets gnarly from the heat, they are quite uncomfortable and have the turning circle of a large boat

i wanted something light and agile and hopefully this will fit (i had a quick ride of one in the rain and liked it)

If often wondered why one doesn't 'need' protective gear on a vespa...

well you could argue the lycra cyclists wear is not protective at 30mph too, at least they have a helmet I suppose.

my school of thought is that they are gutless and lack stability with their tiny gyroscopic wheels

Guy who rear ended me (whilst he was having some sort of seizure) is now dead.
