Just a quick glance

DAS - 2 days so far.

Are all instructors mean and shout at you all the time?

That's the problem; I don't think I am. At least not for somebody who until a few days ago had never ridden a bike.

It's his way I think. Unfortunately I've never reacted well to this method of teaching.

Ah well. If I don't pass I can always try again.

It's probably his way of drilling methods into you. You need to be relaxed on a bike though, so it might not be helping you much if it gets your back up.

All the best with the rest of the course , just dont let him get to you , its a shame , because over a pint I bet he is a nice guy .

Its a difficult situation , because basically , he is responsible for training troops and then sending them straight to the front line .

I wouldnt like that , whatever he is saying to you , he definitely has your best interest at heart .

again , good luck , just remember that every bastard in a car is trying to kill you .

A little ditty i was told many years ago that has saved me a few times , for when you go into a bend way tooo hot , dont grab for the brakes , just tell yourself,

"if its going to get round the corner with the brakes on , it will piss round it if i just look round the corner and let her go "

my guy was really great - no shouting, no sarcasm, no taking you to a mates garage to get you to buy kit etc

really top bloke and very good instructor

at the end went round his bike showing things to look out for if buying 2nd hand etc

I think if I fail, I'll go back to the chap I did my CBT with.....he was very relaxed and chilled out.

I remember him telling me about the types of instructors out there who try to put you down, etc. At the time, I thought he was just trying to persuade me to do the DAS with him.

I now understand what he means.
