I used the Philips X-Treme power bulbs. Perfect and plenty of light.

Ive fitted Hid's to my last 5 bike including 2 Harleys. Its not too dificult but locating the ballast can be a problem.Although I rarely us my bike at night I havent had any issues with the beams. My reason for fitting them is mainly for safety, they are a lot more visible during daylight than conventual bulbs.

Never seen any difference when using different brands of lamps - the only thing that ever makes a difference is going to HID. To that end, the first 'big' bike I look at as a keeper will have a light unit that is HID as standard.

Judging by that picture you must be around 9 ft tall ,it looks nice,My R1was a similar blue to that,I loved the colour.Im afraid anything with "R", added to it is probably going to be a struggle for me to wrap around now.Its a shame the Dont do a Gsx1000 big and comfortable for the likes of me and other old scrote s

On the bike lift to extract the twenty year old plugs, air filter, and rusty oil filter
If that's inside ... HOW CB500 ( assume that's it) is more than likely what i'll end up on, hopefully by sometime later this year
Inside my workshop.... and its a CB750 F2R well I think so. !!
Old school cool then! Looks in decent enough condition too - what is it .. 20 odd?
it's a 1994 version, an F2R, and its now coming together, parts arrived yesterday so by tuesday (1st July ) it will be on the road proper.
Just fitted a small rack to it so I can get my Givi box on (monokey).
Well here it is cleaned up and on the road !
Full service including changing the fork oil, just the carbs left to balance, not that bad anyway.

Not as fancy as all these modern bikes but I can afford these without putting myself in debt and worrying about depreciation ! (they can't drop any further !!)

I thought it was past time to share a pic of my big busa!

Full system / air filter / PowerCommanderV / quickshifter/ rolling road said 200 at the rear wheel !!!

So much easy power and it shoots flames with the ignition interrupt of the quickshifter

That colour is so gay it makes me feel ill love the bike but you would have been better buying it in a mans colour.
