Is the PO 5 mins walk or ride?
I can think of one that is ~ 10 min walk. Riding to it would be a PITA because of the one way roads.

Personally I'd not bother getting the tax, wait until you get home and do it online

It'll be on the database instantly so you won't be in trouble with the law.

gotta get home first

If it's only a 10 minute walk (which, looking at the map, it probably is), then I can walk there myself Dan.

Shall we just keep it to the 10am plan? I was gonna try some of the Rukka stuff on beforehand.

Keep it at 10. I'll try and get things sorted out before then.

This, I think is good advice in particular and something I am crap at doing when going slowly.
I think it's the most important thing to master when you are starting out...in a sense learn to trust the bike and not worry about what's going on right in front of you...you wouldn't do that in a car after all would you?

I was following a guy recently near where I live, on a Yamaha XJ1200 I think? (moden naked big Yam) and we both needed to execute a very sharp left turn junction. The guy in front ended up turning far too late and shallow, but I could see from his head position he was looking just in front of his front wheel. It was quite dangerous actually as he ended up riding into the lane on-coming traffic would have been - luckily there was none coming.

I felt like trying to pull him over and explain where he had gone wrong, maybe I should have.

But the next most important rule is definitely Dan's 7th - enjoy it

Would love to join you all on Sat but we are trying to sell our house so much to do Hoping to see some pix tho
