It certainly was...an Fi-W in red with a blueflame tri oval double exit exhaust and power commander.
I only got rid of it when I got my car license and bought an MX5...I was a 21 year old with a mortgage and earning a lot less, so couldn't afford to keep both
I'll be spending a bit of time with the bike today to set up levers, brake switches and sag etc

I had a red FiW as my first bike, but bought the VTEC after the former was written off.
Preferred the VTEC although many don't - seems to depend mostly on the extent to which the surging problem exists.
Mine wasn't too bad so never got anyone who knew what they were doing to fix it.
I expect your bike will be around long after my Beemer has dissolved ................

Gents, I am after some help.
I have just changed my bike and bought a 2011 CBR600F which is an absolute dream. The only thing is that I am fairly short at 5ft 4" and really could do with a lower rear spring to drop the bike by 30-40mm which my local Honda dealer were going to supply & fit for £150. The spring was not from Honda themselves & the company that they were going to get the spring from has just advised that it will not be back in stock for 2-3 weeks.
Does any one know of a good place to get a rear lowering spring or kit for for under £200 as I don't want to change the entire shock as this is coming in at around £500?
Thanks
Martin

No idea, sorry.
On the plus side, I had my first half decent ride on the bike in over two years, since I was punted off.
Weather was a bit crappy, but it was quite nice to be back on the bike, if not a little unnerving!
All good though...
