I think the rule is something along the lines of, the tint should let in more than 50% of the light. So a light tint will be fine during the day, but at night will become illegal. So as Dan said you would need to carry a clear one too.

Not if you get stopped by the police

(I used to always cary a clear visor in my backpack just in case I did get stopped)

I am smitten by the new blade,negoitated a pretty good deal and thought it wise to run an insuance quote.. Im currently insured through MCE for my CBR600F and its dirt cheap considering i only passed my test in May this year.

£1193.00 Fully comp! Holy crap,think i better get a coupe of years ncb before i consider 1000cc. I'm not paying that sort of money for insurance.

U have to have atleast one years ncb if you have not had licence long for anything over a 600 ESP a 1000.
