Pinlock is the brand of internal visors. Most helmets have the pins on the visor ready for the pinlock system. My Arai came with an demisting one and it actually works.

There is also an aerosol spray that works for a while, that & a breathe guard. Oxford do one called "Fog City" I think.

Went for a ride around Purbeck and Swanage this weekend. Didn't get a chance to go towards Soton.

Need to get my 500miles in for it's first service so I need some excuses to ride some where soon

As said above, pinlock & fog city are the 2 market leaders.

Fog city sticks on the inside, once it's in it's not coming out easily (IIRC).

The pinlock system is a better option, it holds the insert on the inside, but you can remove them easily.

I have a clear and a tinted insert, so don't get stopped by the police for tinted visors either.

Are all tinted visors illegal?

Looking at the light tinted visor for my Arai. It says it's road legal. Thoughts?

Probably ok, but you should carry a clear one with you, just in case you get caught out with the weather / night time

I'm not anal about it btw, just making sure you're aware of how wanky some plod can be

I once rode on a motorway with my iridium visor open at 10.30 ish in the dark evening - couldn't see much with it open or closed tbh

A non-biker question...what do you guys use to prevent the visor misting?
Yeah that's it, come and ask a question and then don't bother to come and check the answers.
