Where and how have you folk successfully sold bikes in the past?
Currently my Viffer is advertised on an owners forum, but I was wondering what other options might work that might limit nutter/pisstake/chancer interest.

I've just sold my off roader on Ebay. Quite a painless experience. Put a sensible reserve on the bike. Don't disclose it or fall for any of the "I'll give you £xxxx now if you'll end the auction" messages. Put plenty of photos up and a very full description including any defects. Time the auction to end on a Sunday evening around 8.00 or 9.00pm - most people are in then. Insist on payment in cash on collection or cleared banker's draft or personal cheque.
Never used ebay before but will consider if nothing comes from club forum.
I might have held onto the Viffer, but right now am riding so little having 1 bike sitting not turning a wheel is better than 2. Besides, if I was to have a 2nd bike something other than a tourer would be more sensible.

Any one on here currently using either Arlen ness, Spidi or Spyke one peice leathers? Wouldnt mind some feedback on them if you do.
Keep reading good things about the Spyke leathers and wanted to try something different for a change.

Just caught up on this thread.
Nice Gixxer Jay thats amazingly clean-
I know of a bird who wears an Arlen Ness suit- she looks hot in it! +50 sexy points in Arlen Ness for sure, soz nought constructive to add!
My bikes been out of mot, insurance and SORN'd for too long now I changed the oil in it today and gave it an under fairing clean. Its either got a bad oil leak from the front sprocket or ive been applying way too much chain grease if thats possible.
I used Motul 300v- looks like fairy liquid ! Its double ester apparently !!
I wonder if it ll blow bubbles out the Termis with that stuff in it?

Raz, did you do the track day on your birthday in the end?
Well Arlen Ness are out, only go up to size 48 and there were a bit tight. I blame it on the thick back protector

Working on my birthday, the world sucks!
I need to get on the track soon. I had Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa tyres put on it in prep too, ones with pretty matching yellow BSB marks on em. They look the part dunno if they are any good though?!
