Now done about 450 miles in my new luxobarge, and finally got some pics.
Still getting used to how best to corner it - not sure if it is the wide bars, fancy Beemer front suspension, or having a big fairing in front of me, but taking a while to figure out where it goes on the road and when to tip it in.
Having the side panniers with some weight in helped a lot on friday night and had a storming run up north, but less fun on a twistier/bumpier "scenic route" back this afternoon.
I expect it will take me a few hundred more miles to get used to it, and I suspect I am trying to ride it like the VFR on the twisty bumpy stuff which probably is not the right approach.
That said, it goes like stink, despite me keeping more or less to the running in rev limit of 6k. Top gear roll very impressive.
Handles amazingly well for such a hefty looking thing.
Gadgets are brilliant, although I think I need a higher screen for motorway work, and using the heated seat after you get caught in a downpour as I did near Aviemore does indeed make you worry you have wet yourself.
Electronic suspension adjustment really works well ............. except that in practice, the roads are often in such poor condition that the bike ultimately feels much happier in "normal" rather than "sport" which is a shame.
In general, if you want to crush continents, this bike must be just about perfect.

Your bike looks funny
Euan's looks big, motorway mile muncher. Be interesting to see how you're finding it after the run in period
