Took a lovely ride down to Thruxton yesterday to watch the BSB.
Lee and I were there too.
I thought it was pretty good.
Lovely ride up there too.

Its insurance time for me again.
Any particular recommendations or discouragements I should look out for?

I ended up going with MCE for £100 less than the renwal they'd sent me

I need to change the tyres on my KTM Duke (120/70 R17 Front, 160/60 R17 rear)
Pirelli Dragons are on at the moment but these are no longer made ....
A quick search throws up Pirelli Diablo, Bridgestone BT-090 or BT-021 & Avon VP2 Sport (or Supersport).
I did a lot of miles on BT-020 a few years ago so I think the BT-021 would be a safe choice ...... however I have always fancied some sticky Avons. The KTM forums rate the Diablos .....
Anyone got any experience of any of these tyres. I am looking for something with good dry grip and not bad wet grip. Tyre life isn't an issue.

Michelin PR2s gripped a tad better, and no problems with the wear. Confidence inspiring enough in all weathers that I'd definitely fit them again.
