After four years without a bike, purchased a little project to get myself back out on track. Doing Brands next month and hopefully Cadwell in August. Dan you'll have to pass on some of your Cadwell tips
Mines the CBR900RRV, not the newest bike but can still get a hussle on. Just stripped it all down, full carb workover, suspension setup and chain/sprockets ect. Just running in some new 016's but feels good

Best tip for Cadwell is steady up the mountain. I've seen people backflip their bikes there just for the sake of trying to get a good wheelie.
It comes up without the need for much throttle - check San's pants
Other than that, treat it the same as any other trackday - build yourself up as you go on.
The left hander at the end of the start finish straight (Coppice??) can be taken faster than you think as it is uphill and good camber.
Good place for outbraking people is down in to Mansfields, downhill and into a left - people tend to brake too early there.
Generally though, just have a good time!
Nottm - get some pics of the new bike up & good luck

In fact, there is no need to slow at all if you judge the turn correctly.
My pants are washed now thank you very much.

You clearly weren't going fast enough on the straight if you didn't need to slow down
It's those bits where you have to lean over that I'm a little more cautious.
