Definitely. I started really slowly and nervously yesterday after having a migraine which didn't really go away all day. I didn't get there until 1130 so used the two sessions before lunch to learn the track and get a feel for it.
I was told to follow an instructor for three laps to use as sighting laps in my first session. However, the guy was instructing someone and I got left behind as I was too slow.

However, the second session was much better and by the end I had a fairly decent pace but I still can't turn left. Not sure about the Dunlops I've got either but the bike is great.
I was in the "novice" group and I've used quotes as there were guys in the group with track bikes shod with slick tyres. I guess the fast group was booked out and they had to get in somewhere. I'll book inters for the next day as I got held up a lot.

Got a 20 min session @ brands this afternoon, its been a while since I went out on the cbr! Looking forward to scrubbing those tyres, and (still) trying to get that knee down, I really need to book a full track day at some stage! Too many expensive hobbies!!!!
