insurance told me today they are looking to replace the bike which is great news..

i'm going to be skint as i'll have an excess to pay and new (and higher?) insurance but hey ho. The gf is not delighted about me jumping back in the saddle either. i'm not going to force it this time by putting in loads of miles in, it wont be used for work for a while.

and i am going to do some training despite my skintness... any recommendations on rookie training aside from the police course i was in the middle of booking?

plus, for me at least, i have the requisite book so i can read the theory like a student swot

now all we need is weather.. what? hmm

Have any of you bikers owned an early CBR900RR with the 16" front wheel. Just purchased a little track project but there's lots of debate over what front tyre to run to keep exact rolling radius ect. Just wondered if anyone had any personal experience of what does and doesnt work.
I've been told that you may as well put a 17" in. This will also give you a better choice of rubber.
