Gixxer's 2 years old. 5K miles.
I've never had them changed, and I'd be surprised if the first owner had.

If it's the ABS, are you sure the tyres are ok?

It could be that your pads have just glazed over - if you don't use them hard enough and get some heat into them they can glaze, so they slip on the disc a bit - prob worth changing them over for the sake of

Could be the glazing actually - it's due a service in a week or two, so I'll get them to look at them then.

I don't have time to attempt it myself right now.

It's arrived!

As it wasn't insured I rode it round the house a couple of times and a few goes up and down the drive way!

All parked up now in its own little stable at mum and dads!

The bike is really really loud.. Little video of me starting it up... The onboard microphone on the camera hasn't picked up any of the low frequency noises but you can hear the open clutch cover!

By the looks of it - basically we buy a shot.

Start playing spoof.

You feck up.

You drink it.

You "wibble" again.

We all

Got it?

Does 'wibble' mean 'throw up all over the streets of an English City'?

If so, heck, I did that already at yours.

At least Steve isn't going to be there. I've probably got a chance against you.

Just came back from holiday on Fuerteventura.

Spent 2 days riding mostly off road with this lot:

http://www.backtrax1.com/

Not very technically demanding - mostly hard gravelly roads - but with a few more testing bits thrown in - dry riverbeds with loose sand and gravel.

They run Suzuki DRZ 400s, which is a good trail bike, and have all the proper protective kit.

If you're there, fancy a break from the normal holiday routine and would like to see bits of the island that you wouldn't otherwise see then give them a ring.

Me with one of the many extinct volcanoes which dot the island

and another

all that remains of this ship:

Mountain road up from Parajas

Me and a guy called Matt with Mt Tindaya in the background
