Good stuff.

My bike is way better than I am - that helps a lot.

I'm looking forward to getting the first service out of the way
Just done another 210 miles today. Bala, Newtown, A483 to Crossgates and home via Knighton.

So quiet compared with the weekend. Thursday is clearly the new Sunday.

Pip, have you booked a test ride yet?

Are you about tomorrow? May go and meet up with San. . . .

Pip....you missed a nice day's riding.

Was good to get out on the bike properly this year.

Got 2 new BT016s scrubbed in.

Sad news is I may have to sell the bike soon.

I know, I missed out there. Had to spend the morning checking out catteries

No way of keeping hold of the bike?

I took the R1 out today ...... the first time this year. I had forgotten how quick these things are.

I was out on the KTM yesterday and I think I now enjoy riding it more than the R1. The quick steering on the Duke make it quick on B roads and through traffic.

San, I couldn't insure it. Well I'll check anyway.

Steven, it all depends on what you use the bike for. I doubt you'd have much fun on a few hundred mile hoon. You'd have to fill up several times for a start.

Yeah it was good fun.

I did 200 miles

Another 180 done last night, so that's totted up to 586 complete.

Service booked for Thursday and then it's allowed to go up to 10k rpm.

Should start to get a bit more interesting.

Feeling quite comfortable with it now, had both knees down last night, fortunately not at the same time

It has an economy guage fitted, which I didn't know about.

Anyway, averaged 35 mpg so far.

Put it in 4th and accelerated quite hard, it went down to 12

I'll be resetting it when I get to Cartagena just for amusement value.
