I say that, but according to the Bridgestone website the BT015 tyre was developed for the GSXR1000 K7/8 along with a few others.

I think the 016 is newer though

You lot are ****ing useless.

The 015s seem to have been slated on websites. And are expensive I think.

Pip...the 016s are good in what sense? Dry tyre, all weather, longevity?

Nice amount of grip in the dry and are dual compound which should help the longevity. Although I'm sure your bike should shred anything on the rear pretty quickly.

When I picked up the bike from its service on Monday, they had very concerned looks when I asked if the rear Avon was still legal.

HI all,

Mate popped round last night with a multi meter that actually works, and looks like it is only the battery on the VFR - phew!

As for tyres, my VFR runs BT-020's/021's which are a dual compound tyre and pretty good.

The TT600 has BT-016's which again seem pretty good, although never used them in the rain. They do seem a bit more grippy in the dry though, but not hard to tell unless you're on a track!

I have Michelin Pilot 2CT's on my old Aprilia thou and really liked them - favourite tyres so far, in fact!

2CTs and Diablo Corsas seem to be everyone's favourite tyres these days.

I suppose there must be something in it. Will do a bit more reading and then order them.

Dan.... back at ya.

Like I said, I was very happy with the 2CT's and would happily have them again on both bikes
